Christine Maihle

Christine Maihle DNP, MBA, RN, NEA-BC

President

Christie is currently a Program Manager at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) for the Inpatient Endo/Renal/GI Unit and Dialysis Unit.  She started working at NCH in 2007.  In 2010, Christie graduated from The Ohio State University with her BSN and started working as a bedside RN in the PICU. In 2014, she graduated from Otterbein University with her MSN/MBA and  was promoted to Education Nurse Specialist (ENS).  While working as an ENS, she supported ICU and Ambulatory areas.  Christie was promoted to Program Manager for Teen and Pregnant, Adolescent Medicine, and Juvenile Intervention Center, a few of the Medical Specialty Clinics, at NCH in 2016.  In 2018, she graduated with her DNP from Otterbein University and transitioned to her current role as Inpatient Manager.

Melissa Hamms

Melissa Hamms BSN, MBA, RN

Treasurer

Melissa is a nursing leader with 26 years of experience. All of which have been providing oversight for newborn intensive care.  A part of the OhioHealth system as a NICU manager and transitioned to Nationwide Children’s in 2000, managing Riverside Methodist Hospital, Dublin Methodist Hospital and Doctors Hospital NICU.  Melissa currently serves as the Director for the Neonatal Network for the past 4 years.   Excited to become more involved in COONL and expand connections with leadership experts!

Andrea Scurria

Andrea Scurria DNP, MBA, RN, CCRN, NEA-BC

Secretary

Andrea is currently the Critical Care Director of Nursing at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center James Cancer Hospital.  She completed her BSN at Mount Carmel College of Nursing, MBA from Ohio Dominican University and DNP from The Ohio State University. Andrea completed the AONL Nurse Manager Fellowship in 2017.  Beginning her nursing career in 20010 as a new graduate RN at Mount Carmel West in the MCICU.  Andrea later transitioned from staff nurse to formal leadership roles on the Bone Marrow Transplant and Medical Oncology units at The James before returning to the ICU.
