Jaime Manley MSN, RN, CPN, NEA-BC
President
Jaime has been a nurse for 27 years, with 26 of those years dedicated to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Throughout her tenure, she has served in a variety of clinical and leadership roles, including Staff RN, Charge RN, Clinical Leader, and Program Manager within both the Inpatient Cardiac Unit and the Cardiothoracic ICU.
She currently serves as the Director of Clinical Support Services, where she leads the House Nursing Supervisors, Float Pools, and the Vascular Access Team. In this role, she continues to broaden her understanding of nursing and healthcare from an organizational and systems-level perspective.
Jaime is passionate about advancing nursing’s impact within hospital leadership and the broader community and looks forward to exploring these opportunities through COONL.
Jessica Sebastian
President-Elect
Jessica Sebastian BA, MSN, RN, NE-BC is currently the Director of Nursing for Progressive Care at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She has been a nurse for 14 years and progressed through several roles including Director of Ambulatory Operations for MSK, Clinic Nurse Manager for Sports Medicine, Assistant Nursing Administrator for Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and ICU Staff Nurse at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital. Each position allows her to strengthen her passion for nursing and team development
Jessica has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Dayton and began her professional career as a Branch Manager for Fifth Third Bank. After deciding to transition to healthcare she obtained a Masters of Nursing from Xavier University. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice at The Ohio State University and continues to be active in nursing leadership organizations and mentorship initiatives.
Matthew Vitartas MBA, BSN, RN, CCRN
Treasurer
Matthew Vitartas is currently the Administrative Nurse Manager in the Intensive Care/Intermediate Hybrid unit at Berger Hospital with OhioHealth and will be serving as the COONL Treasure for this upcoming term.
Matthew has served in the United States Army Reserves for 19 years in various capacities. Most recently he has completed a three year term as the Commanding Officer of the 311th Field Hospital where he has also been an ICU Nurse since 2016.
Prior to OhioHealth, he started his career at The Ohio State University with The James Cancer Hospital. There, he completed 2 years in the Surgical ICU and then 4 years as the Assistant Nurse Manager in the Blood Marrow Transplant Unit. Outside his clinical experience, he served as a clinical instructor for Otterbein University from 2017 – 2020. He has a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University, a BSN from Capital University and a BA from Otterbein University. Matthew also holds the Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification since 2017.
Amy Jackson DNP, RN, CNL, NE-BC

Amy Jackson, DNP, RN, CNL, NE-BC is a Nurse Manager at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Amy has 14 years of nursing experience and has held the title of Nurse Manager for 8 years. She received her Associate degree in Nursing from Hocking College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Muskingum University, Master of Science from The Ohio State University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at The Ohio State University. Amy’s current position is that of Nurse Manager of Ohio State’s Ambulatory non-oncology infusion clinics. Amy has extensive experience in home healthcare and Medical-Surgical nursing. She has served in roles as a Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, and Preceptor. She holds two certifications as a Clinical Nurse Leader and Nurse Executive.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, Brian, and their three children. She enjoys camping, music, and ATV riding.
Christine Maihle DNP, MBA, RN, NEA-BC
Past President
Christie is currently a Program Manager at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) for the Inpatient Endo/Renal/GI Unit and Dialysis Unit. She started working at NCH in 2007. In 2010, Christie graduated from The Ohio State University with her BSN and started working as a bedside RN in the PICU. In 2014, she graduated from Otterbein University with her MSN/MBA and was promoted to Education Nurse Specialist (ENS). While working as an ENS, she supported ICU and Ambulatory areas. Christie was promoted to Program Manager for Teen and Pregnant, Adolescent Medicine, and Juvenile Intervention Center, a few of the Medical Specialty Clinics, at NCH in 2016. In 2018, she graduated with her DNP from Otterbein University and transitioned to her current role as Inpatient Manager.
